Getting others involved is a major step towards understanding the fun that can be found in theatre, both professionally and non-professionally. Joining in can make theatre more relevant to our lives; it can clarify and illuminate, but above all, its a great laugh.
Both Chris and Dan have considerable experience in running workshops, classes and development sessions including Stanislavsky for Beginners for audiences at Nottingham Playhouse, Shakespeare Simplified for young students of drama, Gender and Politics in Theatre for students at Colchester FE College and University of Essex and sessions on adapting stories and devising. |

actor/audience relationshipThis was a series of workshops that looked at how actors communicate and connect to audiences and how to keep it at the fore in all their work. It explores other performance methods such as stand-up, clowning and physical theatre, genres where connection is strong, and how those skills can be transferred to more traditional theatre and how it can transform it into something more engaging.
